Instructor

Gabi Cobb was born and raised in Huntington and began her dance journey at the age of four. As a teen, she performed and competed and gained experience in a variety of dance genres. Gabi performed on the dance team at Spring Valley High School all four years, where she became trained in the pom style of dance. After graduation, she began dancing on the Marshall University Dance Team and took several classes under the instruction of Uptown’s Sharnice Taylor. Gabi first began teaching and choreographing during her senior year of high school, where she taught jazz, tap, and ballet to children 10 years and under. Gabi received her Bachelor’s degree from the MU College of Business in 2022, then completed her MBA in 2023.

One of Gabi’s main goals is to show her students that expressing oneself through movement is not only a blast, but also a magnificent way to improve one’s confidence and build significant life skills, such as creativity and collaboration.
